Dear Highcroft, We collected Lucy yesterday, and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the team, she came home the same little dog as we had left. As you know I had certain concerns leaving her due to our previous experience at another kennels, but she was on top form, yes she was happy to see us but I know she could of quite easily stayed for longer. We have frequently used Highcroft Kennels for several years to board our dog, who is a rescued German Shepherd. Because of his early history he is a difficult dog to handle, as he is nervous of strangers, protective and occasionally aggressive. We were doubtful whether we could find a suitable boarding kennel for him, but Highcroft has exceeded our wildest expectations. We have had experience of other kennels with previous dogs. The staff have worked with him and gradually gained his confidence until they can now (to our amazement!) routinely handle, groom and exercise him. They have all shown great understanding and interest in him and have often offered us helpful advice. He seems to improve after every visit, happily trots along to his 'apartment' after booking in, and comes out looking as if he has had a good holiday! Recent family emergencies have meant that we have had to make a number of trips to Highcroft, often at short notice. The staff have always been supportive and flexible, even to the extent of admitting him late on Christmas Eve when they were officially closed. Our dog is an important part of our family, but we probably would not have been able to keep him without the help and support of the friendly, dedicated Highcroft staff who treat each animal as a valued individual. Hi Mandy and Wayne, We are writing to let you know that the care you give our two dogs whilst staying at Highcroft is second to none. You really should be pleased with yourselves and staff on the excellent atmosphere and cleanliness of your kennels. Your commitment given to the animals in your charge is exceptional, our dogs are as happy in your charge as they are at home. Highcroft offers such a safe environment that we would never consider leaving our dogs anywhere else, they always come home clean, happy and well feed. 28th January 2016 We have been using Highcroft Kennels for many years and have no hesitation in highly recommending them. Not only do they provide a professional service but all the staff are so friendly and genuinely care about the animals intrusted to them. Words will never truly express our gratitude to Highcroft for the care and devotion they showed our beloved Bonnie. They continue to provide outstanding care for Suba and we are just so thankful we found them. Our sincere thanks go to all the staff who continue to make Highcroft such a special place. It's always a worry for any pet lover to leave the four legged family member with strangers: but from the first time we left our dogs we were made to feel like they were in good hands. The wonderful staff took time to get to know our dog's personalities and understand the different levels of care they require. They are always friendly and accommodating and give us feedback from their stay. It's clear in our dog's faces and wagging tails that they are happy to be having their own doggy holiday while we have our holiday! We wouldn't look anywhere else for kennels for our boys!
